Analysis Summary
Copy for sorting and selecting Group DMs inactive for about six months, then leaving up to 1,000 of them without notifying participants.
Detailed Explanation
The same string group covers inactive Group DM cleanup, oldest/newest sorting, select-all controls, silent leaving, in-progress waiting, and failure states.
A newly tracked bulk-leave API supports the interpretation that these labels belong to one batch cleanup flow.
Short labels such as More and Sort refer to controls inside that flow rather than generic Discord navigation.
When It Appears
It appears after opening inactive Group DM cleanup from Direct Messages options and sorting, selecting, or leaving conversations.
What It Means
It lets the user review older inactive Group DMs and leave selected conversations without sending a separate leave notification to their participants.
If a wait time is shown, retry after that interval.
For the general failure message, review the selected conversations and run the cleanup action again.
Search Intent
A visitor likely searched for “You’re cleaning up Group DMs too quickly.
Try again in {seconds, plural, one {# second} other {# seconds}}.” to learn where it appears in Discord, what it means, and whether any action is needed.
